“This was bought along with a large sideboard and the natural oak colour matches and looks good and the bookcase appears to be well made. The two movable shelves are useful with three positions. Only pity is that the underside of the shelves are open which can be seen if the top shelf is in the highest position. Two very useful drawers at the bottom Delivery of both items was seemless and the furniture was well packaged”

“Bookcase is lovely. Sadly, they delivered it at 7am with no advance warning of the day they planned to deliver it. Then, a couple of surly lads dumped it in my hallway, leaving me, a man recovering from an operation, and my pregnant wife to get it into the lounge and up. Apparently, they changed their terms of delivery without informing us by email or phone to make it Covid-safe even though it is perfectly fine for people to enter someone else's home for the purposes of work as long as masks are worn and social distancing is maintained. Left two messages with customer service, but no one bothered to get in touch. Won't order from these jokers again!”

Sorry you are unhappy with the way todays delivery worked out. Having looked into this order and the attached paperwork we are showing that delivery was actually confirmed for today via telephone between the hours of 7am and 10am. This is our normal practice when making deliveries and anything not confirmed in advance does not leave our warehouse. In terms of the Covid-safe delivery all of our delivery teams make several deliveries each day and as such given the current climate we don't consider it safe to have them in and out of multiple properties. Had we been made aware of your specific circumstances we could have looked at alternative arrangements or delayed delivery. The safety of both our employees and customers has to be our number 1 priority which is why our teams are currently instructed to deliver to a hallway or preferably doorstep/outbuilding. This has been evident on our website for several months and is in line with many other U.K retailers delivering heavy and bulky goods. Once again apologies you are unhappy with the delivery service you have received.
