“From a distance the sideboard looks great. On closer inspection the drawers are quite cheaply put together and the top is not a solid piece of oak but is a very thin piece of wood, not thick as the edges would lead you to believe. There is a leg in the center of the cabinet which does not reach the floor so has no function (unless I suppose if you fill the cupboard with such heavy material that the wood bows). 3 of the four corner legs have holes in, not sure what for, and one leg is quite clearly made of two pieces of wood which are not properly together. In conclusion we would say that it is a good-looking piece of furniture, but we do not feel we have received our £350's worth of value once you look under the skin. We have yet to put it to use and fill it with our crocks and cutlery!”
