“I have bought Ryka trainers several times before and they're my favourite brand. I particularly love their high impact shoes which are very resilient, but also have well-designed soles with a pivot point for quick direction changes. These ones are also slightly higher round the ankle which helps prevent me from turning over on the ankle which I am prone to do. The only issue with this particular style is that they run a little small, and definitely very narrow in the toe section. I have always bought a size 5 in Ryka before with no issue, but these are a touch too small. I am working on the theory that they will give a little bit with wear and will then be absolutely fine, but for now they need a little breaking in. Other than that they're very comfortable and supportive, and amazingly light”
