“I purchased your lightener kit from a local health store for $18 (VERY pricey compared to other brands) and it DID NOT work. I followed the simple instructions, and only my natural roots changed color. The color of my mid and tips is a light brown, so I don't understand why it wouldn't work other than there was hardly any dye in the box, it wasn't enough to do more than just my roots, and I have short hair. Very dissatisfied seeing as it is so expensive and I barely got anything from it. I'd need 3 more boxes to cover my hair. The lady on the box has hair longer than mine so I was expecting at least that much coverage. It's a good and fast working product, but there needs to be A LOT more in there!”

“Excellent performance, (even on my grey hair). The only reason i havent given it 5* is because of the small amount of mixture in each box.”

“I like the fact that it does not contain ammonia and does not dry the hair too much. However, I agree with the other review that the amount given is very meagre. I just have a very few strands of hair done with the lightening kit, sprinkled amongst other highlights and it only lasted twice which does not make it good value for money, at all !......”

We continue to develop our products with our customers in mind... volumes of product can be tricky to get right with many heads of hair being so very different and that is why we value your feedback, to tell us what is and isn't working :)

“Bought 3 boxes for shoulder length hair and that was no where near enough. It's ridiculous how little you get per box considering the intended purpose and cost. Plus despite leaving it for the maximum time not all of my hair was lightened even when there was bleach applied. I'm now having to spend £100 for a hairdresser to fix it. Won't be buying it again. It's fine if you have really short hair and sensitive skin as the fact it's ammonia free is the only good thing about it.”

Hi Lucy. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience with us. It is very unusual for you not to have enough product with 3 boxes for shoulder length hair, unless your hair is very thick. The consistency of the lightener formula once mixed can be described as quite thick, therefore it is important it is applied evenly to avoid uneven sections. Results of any hair product will be dependent on a number of further variables including your base hair shade and the condition of your hair. “The product works and I will be buying some more but there is not enough in the box, I ran out after I had applied it only the roots of half of my head. There is no way the lady on the box managed to get all of that hair bleached with just one box.”

Thank you for taking the time tor write to us. We are sorry to hear that you did not have enough colour to complete your application. We do say with our Highlight and Lightener Kits that if you have especially long or thick hair then you may need more than one box.
