“I used the mahogany henna on my hair. It showed no color except on my scalp. Maybe I shoulda used 2 bottles, not sure. But it did make my hair so soft and manageable. My curls are so light and fluffy. So for me was more like a treatment. Disappointed about the color part.”

“Hopeless product claims to cover greys but it doesn't despite the fact that I left it on a lot longer than the recommended time. Waste of money for me”

“I bought this product when my local health food store discontinued the henna I had been using. I have tried it twice, and neither time was successful in covering the grey. It also does not make my hair soft and shiny like my previous product did. I will not use it again. I used dark brown.”

“After taking an hour to use, this product covered 10% of my gray hair, not 80%. I see below that you say gray hair can be stubborn. I don’t see how that is an acceptable answer, nor is recommending another product to make your hair dye work. If another product was needed, then it should have been included in the box. If your product might not dye hair, then it’s not right to market it as a product that will.”

“As a first timer I found this very easy to use, although you do need to set yourself some time as it took me a good hour to go through all the steps. I have some grey and the colour did not cover it unfortunately. If there are any more tips on that I would be very grateful. The colour itself is very nice and blends in well.”

Fabulous! Yes the extra hair wash can add a few extra mins to your routine but it will get quicker we promise :) Grey hairs can be very pesky to cover and we would recommend using a permanent 'N' shade rather than a semi-permanent shade which will only cover up to 80% grey hair. Another great tip is using our Hydrate Treatment after washing your hair to really prepare the hair for colouring so you can be sure the grey hairs are in the best condition to soak up the colour. Our Customer Service Team are on hand to help and we have asked them to contact you with some more handy tips on covering those greys so you can be sure to get the best coverage from your next application :)

“The copper brown semipermanent color leaves my hair very soft and glossy and with a lots of warm and copper brown reflex on my dark brown natal color that’s why I like it a lot more compare to the medium chestnut semipermanent hair color. The grey hair are almost fully covered .”

Thank you Marina for you kind rating. We are glad you are happy with the results. Grey hair's can be very stubborn and resistant to colouring, especially to gentle colours like ours. Our Hydrate Treatment is a great pre-colour treatment, especially if you have grey hair, that you can use before applying your colour. Our permanent shades can cover up to 100% grey hair, our semi permanent shades can cover up to 80% grey hair- if you can use permanent hair colour, it might be worth trying to cover those pesky greys :)
