We would always suggest following these guidelines when fitting Quarry tiles
We recommend mixing tiles from different boxes before fixing
Tiles should be fitted in the extrusion direction, which is indicated by the grooves on the reverse of the tiles, with all tiles fitted in the same direction
A minimum 5mm grout spacing is required. Although unglazed, these quarry tiles do not need sealing.
Finish the look with our huge range of adhesives, grouts, and trims.

“I have now laid 6 of the 11 boxes of tiles (over 50%) and all is good. Attached are some photos of the two areas of one completed floor. It has been fun and I am am now preparing the pantry floor for the remaining five boxes of tiles. For info: image captured from outside in the garden - The paler tile edge, at the bottom of photo - IMG 3208 JPG, is of the original window ledge which I have since restored, it is now back and more like its original finish.”

“These quarry tiles are genuine clay. Made in Spain, they are consistent in quality and have a good finish. The small size makes them easy to lay in difficult spaces, my front porch has some awkward areas for tiling. Tile Warehouse were a very pleasant company to deal with. They immediately replaced a handful of broken tiles with no quibbles. I was very appreciative of the fact that they deliver to the Shetland Islands, not many companies do these days. So well done Tile Warehouse!”
