“Complete dud, must have skipped QC. After buying many pairs of shoes from TB i never thought a shoe in this bad of shape would get shipped. I wouldn't say that their shoes are all like this, this pair was just a lemon that was overlooked probably. To detail, there was glue spattered everywhere inside on the insole, a huge glue chunk hardened sticking out that would cut into your foot if you took a step with them on. The shoe tongue was crooked on 1 shoe meaning it wasn't sown in right, and there was paint on the shoe that was inconsistent with the rest of the shoes color, like drops or drips of color from the hand painting. Due to covid shipping delays and the fact that the post office in japan isnt shipping airmail to the UK. TB customer service has extended the return window due to shipping issues and they have not let me down in the past so i expect it will work out in the end. They have offered to cover return shipping and a refund for the trouble. Ill update once this is fully resolved. Updated Aug 2022. issue resolved. I was refunded for the shoes, though it was quite the hassle to have to spend time to dela with. I searched for a local cobbler for awhile to see if they could be fixed and i had to pay for the return cost which i thought i would be refunded for but was not.”
