“The hairpin legs generally are very good, nice colour, and mostly well painted. They come with feet and screws. The only issue is the paint around the top plate where it will mount to the table/desk isn’t well finished. I think this probably happened during production or handling (or shipping to the Hairpin Leg Co) because they were well packed for final delivery.”

I am sorry to hear this. We pack everything here, so this is most likely going to be transit damage. Sometimes the base plates can knock against each other and cause chips like this. Damage between legs is far harder for us to get 100% consistency, opposed to damage between the legs and the outside world. We are always trying new options (and have been for 5+ years) and while we have improved things a lot there are still inevitable damages.
Please do pop us over an email and we can arrange either a replacement or a partial refund to resolve this.
