“Brilliant price, under £200, or so we thought. We then had a letter saying they had checked our accident reports and because we had a minor repair to our car through our insurance 18 months ago they wanted to take another £700+ from our account. When we rang up we were advised this was the new price. If the named driver who had the 'accident' was removed what would the price be then and it was still £200+ more than the original quote because we had lost husband and wife discount! You have to watch the small print of these so called budget insurers because you can guarantee there is a catch and you are not covered for everything you think you are covered for.”
