“The comparison site was easy to use, although a couple of questions were not very clear, we didnt want to use our no claims on the new vehicle as we were keeping the other vehicle so was using the no claims on this, once we accepted the quote with Budget we then received a letter asking for proof of no claims, after numerous telephone calls and emails it was explained to us that they use this and mirror the no claims on your new vehicle otherwise they put the amount up by £400, we should have been made aware from the beginning about this, I did send proof but budget insurance did not understand the "jargon" used by my current insurance company, altough this was eventually rectified by a quick telephone call to confirm, maybe Budget could have done this at the beginning saved 4 weeks of telephone calls and emails.”
