However, when the details on our NCD came through from our previous broker they showed one less year than we had shown when applying for the policy. (our broker was unable to retrieve information from a previous insurer).
We received and replied to a number of emails, each one asking the same question, which we answered repeatedly whilst away on holiday. We asked what the (if any) additional premium would be, should our continued enquiries fail to find the old insurer.
It took a lot of emails to eventually get the message across to you prior to getting a reply which said there would be no increase in the premium paid.
So a lot of toing and froing due to poor systems. Much prefer to speak to someone and to sort out problems there and then.”
“Could not understand why they needed to see the years of no claims which we have on our other vehicle,As it has nothing to do with the van policy at all. Our car insurance company agreed with us that this was none of their concern and totally unrelated to our van policy. We sent proof of no claims to them from our van, but they kept asking to see proof of no claims after we had sent it, but it did not mention that it was the no claims on our car that they felt that they needed to see, had to phone to find out, and was told that the e mail was unclear and that they wanted to see the no claims on our car! Will not use them again!”
