“Car is actually a Mini Cooper s in metallic cherry red. Colour match is ok. Fixing stone chips and minor scratches. Pen took a lot of shaking and pushing the nib up and down before any paint appeared. This mushed up the chisel tip so application was rough. so I turned it around to try the other nib end. But it was just as poor as the paint was very thick and didn’t go on very well. I have had to do several applications with fine sanding in between as it was impossible to get it in the stone chips only as it smeared all over the surrounding paint. I have restored many cars and used all kinds of paint applicators over the last 30 years and I won’t buy another pen applicator like this again. I ended up chuckling the nib and using a fine art paint brush to apply the paint from the pen on the rest of the repairs.”

“The colour is not the same and for me to do the work with the tip of the pen has awful, now that I know, I would prefer the little brush that usually came with the small bottles … in the end I’m going to pay for a professional to solve the rock chip of my wheels… totally not worth it, what a waste of my money!”

“Paint matches, but the pen isn't great at all. Nib too stiff and too big definitely the wrong shape for small stone chips. Also the nib isn't attached to the pen it slides out, so half way to the job it fell out from the pen and lost it, big design flaw. Maybe I was unlucky with a defective one, but I'm not spending that money again. There are many other cheaper alternatives.”
