“My car was in fact a Ford Focus. Pens arrived, read the instructions and proceeded to clean the stone chip area. Found pressing the pen to load up the pen tip with paint on the test card increased the size of the tip which was not ideal for a small 2mm damaged area, resulted in paint on the paintwork, I wiped off & started again this time using the dabbing tool from a bottle of paint from a previous order, I pulled out the now loaded pen tip (use gloves!) & dabbed the tool onto the pen tip to load up, much easier to dab the affected area & avoid overspill on the bonnet. In my opinion am thinking the pens would be more useful for actual deeper scrapes rather than stone chips where the area is quite small & generally round in damage caused, also much easier to control the amount when dipping into a bottle. Overall still happy with the result but prefer the bottle over the pen, I suppose different damage requires different techniques. Would definitely order again from Touch Up Paint Factory as in the past.”
