“This small angular stone is very appealing. It is a very dark grey when dry and dramatic black when wet. Very comfortable to walk on - even for a dog. Basalt chippings make a neat covering for uneven ground or a good base upon which to add decorative embellishments. I find a minimum coverage of two inches depth is ideal, more is preferable.”
