“I wanted passive cooling, so I chose this as it had protrusions for the CPU and memory and ethernet. I cannot write code, so I used the 'Explaining Computers' web site and copied his code to test the generated heat. Running said script several times on the trot, with an ambient temp in a warm'ish room, gave the highest result as 56 deg c. To my mind a good result. Not only that, but it makes a strong, sturdy case as well.”

“The Aluminium Armour heatsink case is a must for the Pis I work with as they have to run no-stop every day all year to provide a critical service, I don't think this would be possible without a good heatsink.”
