It's a great bit of kit. The top lies flush with the USB ports. The bottom adds about 7mm from the PCB. There are cutouts for all the ports on the PCB, and all the IO ports on the side are unimpeded. It gets quite warm to the touch, but I think that highlights how much something like this is needed on a Pi4. The only issue I have is that this isn't ideal as a computer for use on the move, as the SD card still sticks out slightly from the side, and the GPIO pins could get bent if chucked into a bag. For that use case, the Argon ONE case is much better. However - if it's just going to sit on a desk somewhere, then I can't think of any improvements.

Keeps Pi at a much more suitable temp while working. Not having to worry about it over heating

In crude tests, this case keeps the CPU temp at or below 50C and the case at 40C - both these are 10C hotter than the twin fan Ally case. These conducted with approximately 50% CPU usage and ambient still air at 22C.

I use my Raspberry as a pi-hole. It's not very demanding workload but I decided to buy some sort of case for it because it is sitting in the hallway beside the router. This aluminium armour is ideal because it's protecting and works as a heat sink as well. An when I touch it I can feel that it is warm. So its working as intended. One star down because there were only 2 thermal stickers and you need to connect 3 chips. Yes, the stickers were big enough to cut out for all 3, but cutting 2 rectangles and one square out of 2 squares was a bit complicated. One chip is only covered by 80% but I believe it will work ok.

Every time you are doing your next project this is a chance you can break unprotected PCB with just a sire contact if you unlucky. This case protects, cools and makes Pi looks fantastic at the same time.
