If you have a Pi Hat then you need a riser header, still searching for an appropriate one. Would have been good if this was an optional extra. Otherwise fabulous case.

This thing looks way cooler in person than in the images. That being said, the case gets noticably warm (of course, the heat has to go somewhere), but not hot so far. For more efficient cooling the fins would need to be way thinner, but it does the job anyway. Would also drive up the cost. To me this is a very nice sweet spot, hence five stars. My delivery had only two of the three heat pads, hoping that thepihut will deliver the missing one.

So far it has kept the temperature of my pi4 8gb down well. Easy to fit and feels sturdy and solid. My only concern at the moment is that dust might be able to get into it. Otherwise happy

Does the job. Yes it gets a bit hot, but no it doesn't get too hot in general use. Probably not as good as a case with fan but hey - it's nice and simple, and simplicity is always to be prized.

I wanted a heat sink and a "case" but access to the GPIO. This heat sink does not have a fan, so it quiet! It also has a base which protects the valuable bottom, so I don't need a case with this. Very nice and came with the alan key to assemble the four little bolts too. This would be the case I will get for my next rpi 4 !

Gives a solid aspect and keeps mi pi cool. I'm getting about 47°C idle and max 59°C with heavier use. I knew the pi 4 was hotter then the previous so I ordered the case along with the pi.
