The original SD Card failed with a fcsk error code, I brought this card to replace the original, without having to download the correct software from the internet, The SD card is already partitioned with all the different software version loaded that are available online and with ample spare memory capacity left for normal running. the software Openlux version No'7 loaded without a hitch and the Raspberry Pi A was up and running in no time at all, proved it was an SD Card problem, I do intend to take a backup of this card in case I get a problem in the future. I believe the original card failed due to poor wear leveling which the better cards like this one avoid and tend to be more reliable as a result. Arrived in 24 hrs after ordering total cost £8 with P & P. less 5% a good buy. I'm getting another 5% off for writing this review so I may up grade to the B model, but having said that there's nothing wrong with my present one.

Once NOOBS had loaded, a choice of OS is supplied. I choose Raspbian which began to be installed without an error. When I switch the machine off I had trouble rebooting, however, this was found to be the HDMI to VGA converter and not associated with the SD Card. Since the first hiccup the system boots ever time.

Had sucessfully been using Samsung 16GB EVO in RPiB+. However using latest NOOBS image on that card, and installing Raspian on RPi2, the RPi2 would always boot without problems from power up, or a reset, but a reboot would fail 10% of the time, each time displaying a succession of memory errors. After repeated re-formatting/re-imaging, etc, it was clear that the EVO appeared to have marginal timing problens when used in the faster RPi2. Purchased the Sandisk Ultra from Pi Hut and all the problems have gone. The EVO has since been returned to the RPi B+, and as previously, it too is working successfully. I now see that others have experienced card compatibility problems with the RPi2, the EVO being one of the problem cards. Thus from my experience, I would recommend the Sandisk Ultra for anyone who has a RPi2.
