“Noticeably quicker than the Pi4, reasonably priced and with an on/off button! Superb little machine - I wish I needed more. Probably overkill for HAOS as a small deployment but noticeably improved when running the likes of Casa OS or Umbrel - especially if you run a Monero or Bitcoin node alongside other more hefty applications. There is no need for a 5 VS 4 when it comes to retro gaming - however if you can, why not for the extra few £££.”

“I must apologise for my 2 star review of the Raspberry Pi 5 earlier today. When the same thing happened to my Pi 4, I found that the latest version of Visual Studio 1.97 has a bug which causes the GPU to hang. This is fixed by disabling the hardware acceleration. Pi 5 now like lightening!!”

“Bought 2 of these with chargers and the pcie nvme hats. So far so good, bought to test a new service that we are developing, before moving over to aws for production. Don't worry, they won't go to waste after that, they'll be joined by another few to build a kubernetes cluster”
