“Small and powerful. The wifi addition has made this even more useful for small projects. Add to this, a price that cannot be beaten and you have a winner. I also bought the Essential Pi Pico Kit - almost everything I need to get up & running in no time at all.”

“Finally, I was waiting for this product for a long time. I wanted to use a RP2040 for its quality and performance and at the same time use Wifi as well, all within a single board. Cost is very competitive. C/C++ and Micropython existing libraries make developments very easy and simple. I highly recommend it for most of your iot and home automation projects.”

“New to the microcontroller world - the Pico W was announced the very next day after I was pondering whether to try out a Pico for a new challenge, so decided to get one instantly. Was very surprised by how small they are - more so than with the Zeros, and narrower than a full-size SD card! I guess their scale doesn't come across as well until you see them in person. Still playing around with it as time permits, but so far no complaints at all :) hoping that the Bluetooth functionality mentioned is a matter of firmware (and does get enabled at a later date), but even Wi-Fi connectivity is a great addition!”

“Easy to order, however, there's still little to no availability for any Raspberry Pi devices. The only places I can find them are ebay or amazon for 5 times the original cost. I can see the maker community who have supported raspberry pi since day one abandon this device altogether. It is a shame, I love the brand, and the philosophy behind it but the availability is a huge issue.”
