I like it. I just built driver for diesel heater. I used to start and stop it manually. Now It was so easy to build POC(Production(version) of concept)

Tried all I've read about it. Incredible piece of tech! Small advice: solder legs upside down: for python (micro or circuit) you don't really need bootsel button, but this case you will see all the marks and numbers ob GPIO pins. Very useful.

In the first place, the order, shipping and delivery time were excellent, thanks The Pi Hut! I ordered a couple of Picos for test as soon as I read about them. The first experience with Pico is excellent, very good microcontroller with two cores, excellent tools and very comprehensive documentation. The documentation is well written, very informative and suitable for everyone, from beginners to professionals. Pico has (almost) everything necessary, enough GPIOs, PWMs, AD inputs, and serial ports. Since I use various ARM Cortex-M systems for educational purposes, I would be eager to switch to Pico, in case that Mbed support is available. Further, a (more expensive) variant with WLAN would make it ideal, not just for educational purposes, but also for various IoT, smarthome and similar projects. In any case, my sincere recommendation for anyone starting with or using microcontrollers.

Successfully set up with Thonny running on Raspberry Pi2Gb. I had not soldered for a while so found soldering on male headers fiddly, this would best be done by an adult if buying for a teen/child. MicroPython looks very promising, as an add on product I would suggest someone manufacture a board which you can plug the Pico into using male headers and then break out the pins to larger pads which are then clearly silk screened with their functions. As it is most of the pins are marked on the underside of the board. As a teaching aid my proposed board would make the Pico much more valuable. Very excited by this product.

Arrived less than 24hrs of ordering. Well done! Documentation and well written support software and technical info already available online. Programmed and blinking a LED already. Looking forward to using those state machine controlled I/O.
