“Simple and cist effective little board that gives an easy entry into using the RO2040. Documentation and support seems good. My only gripe is the lack of sensible development tools (although there is documentation and online tutorials to help get around this). Pi Pico board is cost effective enough that I'm considering it as a component in its own right...”

“Inexpensive but very capable. I love the no-hassle programming directly through the USB connection. Programming Arduinos is much more hassle because using the Arduino IDE is a much more fiddly process requiring you to select the right board, libraries, transfer speeds, reset settings etc. etc. Oh my word what a pain.”
