Must have when you buy Raspberry Pi. Comes with a lot of different adapters and provides expected power to your unit.

Really good firm connector ensuring solid supply of power (no more reboots if cable or pi is moved, due to flimsy connection..)

My previous charger was only 2.1 amps and the power kept failing. This new charger works great and I also really like the different heads so I can use it in Europe or the US too!! My project is not yet running 24/7 so I will wait to see how it goes...

Perfect power supply for a raspberry pi 3. Deliverers 5.1v at a max of 2.5A. Has a long cable. If your a traveller you're love this, it comes with 4 mains adapters, UK, US, EU and AU (i think). No brainier, just buy it.

I originally bought a generic 5v adapter and was running into issues with my Pi3. It was displaying a lightning symbol at the top right of the screen, which indicates undervoltage. I bought this 5.1v one and my problems went away. Looks like as the Pi3 ramps up current, the voltage drops to below 5v with the older PSU, this one drops to 5v which is the required voltage.

Just started the exploring of the pi3 and bought this official power supply to use with it. So far no issues. Has the correct power output to power the pi and external HD.
