“I went with the Raspberry Pi Beginners Book that includes the Raspberry Pi Zero W. Sure you can risk powering it with another power supply like a cell phone charger, but that charger came with that phone. Why risk it? This power supply if for Raspberries! It will power ANY Pi Model safely and reliably. A well thought out design that gives you multiple wall socket plugs for your Global region. I simply plug in the wall charger then connect the micro usb plug and confidently start using my Pi knowing it is powered right.”

“I needed a power supply for my Raspberry Pi 3 and an external hard drive due to undervoltage warnings with my previous Amazon Basics 5V 2,1A. This one can power my pi with the hard drive connected Just perfectly! No voltage Drops anymore!”

“This is a good, clean power supply. By clean, I mean very low ripple at full rated current. Use this if you have mysterious lock-ups or other unusual failures while using a non-genuine power supply.”
