No problems with PiHut. The package was delivered promptly and efficiently. The. Kit is obviously aimed at beginners and just about meets this target, but even so I found problems which might have been unique to me...The main one is that in the supplied case the system overheated on a simple task - playing video. The supplied kit contains items that experienced Pi hands will not need. The keyboard and mouse are cheaply produced. At £115 I don’t really think the package is value for money. The psu has a different connector and so you can’t use the RPi 4 with other RPi psus. Indeed, until someone makes an adapter, you can’t use it with power packs... The supplied raspbian distribution still has the terrible clunky interface and has lost the Wolfram offerings which may or may not still be available... The fairly pointless inability to play mpeg videos without paying extra continues and is now also present in the downloaded Debian version of Kodi. Unless you really must have it now, I would suggest you hold on until the market matures and then just stick to the bare minimum of the RPi itself and it’s new power supply. And buy an alternative case with some better cooling...

Beautifully packaged kit. Really looking forward to getting my daughter started with this! I knew what to expect from the Pi itself, but I was especially impressed by the keyboard which looks great and has a built-in USB hub.

the kit arrived on time, well packaged. Its neat great colour scheme. Compact - pocket size really. Had it set up within an hour and I'm no Technowhizz. A desktop computer with plenty of power running 2 monitors all for pocket money price. What more could I ask. No Brainer - get one.

I bought this to replace my 5 year old 'B' gifted to me by my son. I always found the old one somewhat inadequate for me. I am delighted. It's connectivity is simple. I chose to replace the Noobs with a 128Gb SONY sd. This didn't work the first time out. I read the downloaded unzipped Noobs 'read me file' carefully and followed the links the alternative sd format program. BRILLIANT! No problem after that. Good for online banking. Still to get my network printer to work, but have CUPS downloaded... Buy it!

This kit is excellent and would have got 5 stars easily if it weren't for the official case. The case looks lovely but unfortunately, the PI 4 just runs too hot for it. I got a different, passively cooled metal case and it runs about 20 degrees cooler so all is good. Anyway, apart from the case issue, this is a great kit, love the official keyboard and mouse, and the included book is excellent, a great addition for someone new to PI like me. I have the PI connected to a 27" 1440 monitor and it looks fantastic. In fact, I haven't even switched on my main PC for a good few evenings as I've been enjoying this so much. Highly recommended!

what a great little desktop computer, BUT. NOOBS will not run on it. i have tried every suggestion /formatting / dragging etc to no avail. the card runs fine in a 3B. this is only a minor setback as if you just download the image of the operating system you want that loads perfectly. Next. it runs hot, like over 80 deg hot in the official case. get a new metal case, add a fan and heat sinks and its now 40 deg. the 4gb pi is well up to most descktop tasks apart from printing which i am still attempting to get it to do, well thats half the fun of a Pi, tinkering around. right back to CUPS it is then
