“Excellent quality product, looks good, and what excellent value. Just do wish it had a 3.5mm audio jack, I personally would sacrifice the second HDMI port or even a USB port for this. Quite easily solved with a USB audio dongle of course. Reinstalled with Ubuntu as I'm a long-time Ubuntu user though I like the fact that the pi comes ready-to-go and with a nice book. Am using the pi as a TV/entertainment centre (though not currently being able to stream netflix due to silly DRM issues on 64bit arm) and also combined with an impact nektar GX61 midi controller and lmms, as a piano. Have also been using it with a USB web cam and microphone for social video chats in chromium using meet.jit.si which works great. Am finding that though some things are not supported due to the architecture (for example, no zoom app and zoom in browser too sluggish) there are viable alternatives for most things and hopefully a solution for the DRM issue will emerge in the future (or even better these streaming services will come to their senses and ditch DRM altogether).”

“I use Raspberry Pi's for a number of growing applications, usually physically building them into some project. The 'all in one' RPi 400 is a very convenient way to develop code and experiment, before transferring to the destination RPi. Good quality keyboard, mouse, power supply, and all the necessary leads. Seems rugged too.”

“I have only tried my new purchase while connected to a home TV. I have yet to find a monitor at a price that matches the computer itself. My main problem, using the device for internet use, is that my existing accounts use strong passwords, stored in an iCloud keychain. Without access to this, I am stuck. Otherwise, the Pi 400 is a great way to learn about computers and coding, for anybody not needing mobility and with a limited budget. I may look for a school or children's organisation to give mine, unless I can find a particular use for it.”

“Great piece of kit. The numbers of Pi 3 & 4s that I've bought and then had to go and buy extra keyboads and mice for - no longer needed. RPi400 for me from now on (*)! It currently rests on / shares a TV with my Atari MegaSTE. (*) OK, unless it's an old hardware hack like the Pi1541 which only works with a Pi3!”

“Brilliant! A couple of additional USB ports and/or a card reader would be nice but an add-on hub solves my needs (tho spoils the clean athsetics a bit)”
