“The new PI 4 model B with 8GB of ram is just great to use, from HTPC running Kodi to executing some projects. Currenlty running Manjaro ARM XFCE and it's good, fast and very snappy using an external usb 3.0 HDD running from a powered usb hub. The only downside is that if you wan't to use peripherals that use the 2.4Ghz channel you will have to use an usb 2.0 extension cable with a ferrite core insulation to isolate the usb 3.0 interference.”

“I have this RPi4 with 8GB running our 3CX Voip phone server with the business, which has 20 extensions and upto 4 calls being handled at the same time. It hardly breaks a sweat even with high work loads, often only at under 10% CPU use and about 15% memory use... Potentially overkill and I could have used a 2GB or 4GB version, but I decided to build in some future proofing of the system as my business grows... This unit replaced a dedicated PC with an i7 CPU, and we have noticed no change in service with using the Pi... Absolutely amazing single board computer!”

“Handy little computer. Set-up was straightforward and would have been easy even without using the Official Raspberry Pi Beginners Guide that I also purchased. Haven't found enough time to play with it yet - but no problems so far...”
