“Raspberry Pi's are now so fast I have almost no second thoughts at all using it as a second desktop computer. I play movies and browse the web on it when my main computer is busy doing stuff or I just need a second screen.”

“Has not lasted a month , the SD card holder fell off board and not human clumsiness have another pi nad had it for years with no problem , contacted supplier to see what they say ?”

“Just excellent. I had no experience of this kind of thing before, I have just used off-the-shelf laptops (though my most recent laptop came with Ubuntu pre-installed and setup so I am not totally new to Linux). but anyway I found the pi so easy to set up, so well designed, the support form this site and online so easy and helpful. I have learned more about computers and how they work and what they can do in the past few weeks than in the whole of my life before. Thank you.”
