Still a great product. Can be used as an acceptable desktop computer without too much work or super technical knowledge. 3D printers know this product well, the excellent Octoprint software makes printing easy. Reliance on an SD card can prove a little problematic but It is a simple job to make the Pi boot from a Flash drive or SSD HD via a USB 3 port. Great value for money with lots of free software available.

Amazingly powerful for such a small board. It is almost as responsive as my pi400 with the advantage of an extra USB port and an audio jack. I bought the 4Gb version which is a nice balance between cost and capability. Installing the 64-bit Bullseye OS has allowed me to test my apps to check for compatibility before I convert my other Pis from 32-bit. So far only one failure. The 4Gb memory and 4 cores allow me to run several apps in parallel without any slowdown in responsiveness. I'm going to have fun with it.

very little difference to the 8gb aside from being £20 cheaper; the GUI (OS) operates no slower in terms of human perception and whilst I am sure it will have lowered capabilities in some areas, it is perfectly fine as a multi-purpose, always on, 'server'. If I were to run Batocera/Recalbox etc for retro gaming I would always use the 8gb version (and have tested with some noticeable differences when running Dreamcast games for example) but other than that, I see few reasons to use the 8gb version over this unless you know you will need to. And superb/fast service from the PiHut team as ever.

Brilliant bit of kit. Very snappy and super easy to set up with the pre-loaded Raspberry OS card.

There are so many things that you can do with this tiny credit card sized computer. You can literally use it as an everyday light use PC, or block ads on your Wi-Fi network, or make a cluster ‘supercomputer’, or use it to make a smart home, or use it as your home NAS, or use the many online projects, do all of the above on this tiny computer. It punches well above its weight and with a vibrant online community, you need this computer in your life!

A great little device to display stats for my home network! Slotted into a 3D printed case and stuck to the back of a monitor where it runs a set of Grafana dashboards with minimal power usage. Now i can see when internet usage peaks, firewall stats, system temperatures and various sensor data. The Pi Hut always ships devices quickly and is well packaged with recyclable materials, never had a problem with anything I've ordered. 5 Stars for the product and the company!
