“Great value. I used this to create a streamer with a Hifiberry DAC+ Zero and a similarly small Class D Amp. Remarkably compact size and great sound quality. I wanted to be able to: - stream (Tidal and Bandcamp) i.e. online music streaming sources, radio and my music from my server. - to multiple machines - controllable from my phone I experimented with a variety of clients and and media servers. My conclusion was that the zero was not powerful enough / didn't have the memory to "pull" music, but worked very well to be "pushed" to by a media streamer sitting on my server.”

“Zero with Wifi does a lot more than you would expect and I find it is plenty good enough for many headless tasks - providing a fantastic low cost and low power platform. Together with the incredible refinement and stability of Raspbian, and the strength of the Raspberry Pi community these devices demonstrate that there is more to being a decent SBC than just on paper specifications.”

“Fantastic little device for doing small tasks in the background. Mine is plugged into the back of my router for USB power and using ddclient to update two different DNS services with my IP.”
