The first of these that I bought a year or so ago was fine and did its job in every way. However the second, bought recently had a thin strip of material behind the front panel which projected on the right hand side. Although small, it prevented the plastic support frame from being attached with the short nylon screws supplied. Slightly longer screws worked but there is now a small gap between the screen front panel and the first plastic cut-out layer of the frame. Is there a problem with the touchscreen manufacturing process or is that extra piece of material necessary? Only a minor gripe and the screen works well in all other respects.

I love this screen. The picture is crisp and clear, the touch funtionality is bob on, it's bright and was very easy to assemble by just following the very clear instructions. Be aware that the viewing angle is not extensive, this is designed to be viewed pretty much head on. I don't know if this next statement is truth or a lack of research on my part but also be aware that once it is set up you can't use any other display at the same time. According to the forums that I read, the Pi itself doesn't have the ability.
