A few days of tearing my hair out until discovering that the latest (Bullseye based) Raspbian has far-reaching changes in display and touchscreen drivers that made the touchscreen unreliable and the screen itself a bit flaky with default settings - see here for details: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=323603 Now that it's actually working, pleased with it. Looks decent, behaves itself properly.

Works great. Not sure if i will use in final project as flush wall mount option might work better.

Worked first time using instructions I found here https://howchoo.com/pi/raspberry-pi-touchscreen-setup - other instructions are available. Raspberry Pi kit is so affordable!

Nice display and works perfectly. 2 minor quibbles - (1) needed a google search to help with installation (as the yellow and green wires are included but no longer needed). I found the helpful details on Pi Hut's website. (2) after installation the display was "upside-down" and to fix this which required an extra line in /boot/config.txt. Instructions for this are also on Pi Hut's excellent website.
