Zero was good but zero-w is even better. Looking forward to speed up the processor. Perfect for toys as well as for professional solutions. Many thanks. Love it.

Cuts down on the weight of the device plus peripherals significantly, wifi is practically essential, and while the original pi-zero was excellent in it's own right, the lack of wifi/bluetooth meant that you always had to add dongles and usb hubs etc to it to use it, now there is no need! You do need a usb adapter initially to set up a bluetooth keyboard still, plus you'll need to look up ways for raspberian to autoconnect to a bluetooth device in startup, it just requries a simple script set to run on startup and you're done!

With on-board wifi and bluetooth, is exactly what the zero needed to be, which is pretty much totally self contained. After setting it up I slotted it into a PiZero case I already had (it's the same form factor as the original) and plugged it in. Now I have a miniature computer in a miniature protective case with just a power lead connected to it. No wi-fi dongle or USB hub hanging awkwardly off one side. It may cost nearly twice the price of previous PiZeros but it is still exceptional value for money. The PiZeroW is seriously useful for those projects where you want a low power computer you can tuck out of the way and access remotely. Lets just hope that these fantastic devices can be produced faster and in greater quantities than the previous versions were.
