I have just recently used the new Pi Zero W to provide a web based bird cam server using the Motion Eye app. I have to say the configuration of the Raspbian lite OS was a breeze and it took me no time to setup the Wifi using the command and then onwards SSH access remotely. I now have a modified bird box ready for this spring to hopefully capture the wonders of nature using one of the cheapest set-ups you could find anywhere due to this fully featured linux card.

Usual fast delivery... At the moment using the zero as an observation camera using Pikrellcam. it all works well. The Zero W works well with the PiCamera and in the Official Zero W case it tucks away in a small corner. I am not recording but just use it to see if visitors or delivery men arrive, my property has an awkward viewing point to see arrivals. A better buy!

First Pi I've had. Studying various guides & Researching on web any problems you encounter is best way to go. Only playing with for few hours and managed to get used to processes necessary to load new programs on sdcards and write commands in the terminal. Good little project to work on and look forward to finding new ways to utilise my Pi zero w.

It wasn't long ago that I had been looking for HATs to add Wifi or Bluetooth to my Pi Zero and then much to my amazement the Pi Zero W was released. A perfect addition that removes the added complexity of wifi adapters etc... Looking forward to creating some new projects with this!
