“The Zero W is perfect if you need a small, inexpensive SoC for more or less any project. It’s half the size of the Pi 3 or 4 and unless you really need the horsepower of one of the larger boards, it will more than likely do the trick. Don’t forgot that it needs adapters for the USB and HDMI ports though!”

I use Pi Zero's, Pi Zero W's and Pi Zero2 W's across a wide range of small projects as a hobbyist and within an R&D/manufacturing environment.”

“I purchased the Raspberry PI Zero W to develop a Lap Counter system for my slot car track using two IR Break beam sensors, and a Red, Yellow and Green start countdown function using LED's. The Wireless capability is brilliant as I use VNC to access the Zero W from my Windows system to develop and test the code while reading manuals using the Kindle App. It means I can read the Kindle Books and other Web Based info and have access to the Zero W side by side (instead of switching screens). All of the individual components work brilliantly on the Zero W, so the next stage is to bring it all together in a GUIZero App, which could be interesting.”

“As of yet I have no idea as to if the computer is functional or not. Again NO information included with sale. This is the second Pi Zero W I have purchased. Trying to make a Jumbo spot for ham radio have 3 hats and 2 Raspberry Pi's and not a working one in the lot.”
