I ordered my Pi Zero, and it came very quickly, and with all the right extras. In particular they had already included the Raspbian setup on the SD card, which was a very welcome and helpful addition. Highly recommended!

On hearing about the Pi Zero, rushed out immediately to get my hands on one. Like most failed to get the cover gift on the MagPi magazine so was majorly thankful that I had ordered this kit. The kit contains everything your likely to need to get started, board, cables, connectors, sd card, the lot, and I'm currently working out how I might re-purpose the tin itself to house the Pi and a usb hub, when I've worked out the best option I let you all know.

Absolutely brilliant idea - take the Raspberry Pi, shrink it, and make the ideal candidate for wearable tech, and other small applications that don't need the power of the full-size Pi. It helps to have the essentials kit as well, to give the additional connectors to get you going - all I needed to add was a small usb hub and a micro-usb cable for power, and viola! Currently experimenting with a default Raspbian install, but hopefully the MagPi magazines will provide inspiration for future projects. Definitely a must-have :)

I wanted to replace a Pi B OpenElec project... well, just because the Zero is cool. And, of course, the extra MHZ are handy. Once I'd bottomed out the connectivity issues (HDMI to VGA+Audio splitter and MicroUSB to USB hub), all I had to do was upgrade OpenElec to the latest version. After that, it was a simple MicroSD swap (MicroSD was in an SD adapter). Power, boot and Bingo! Everything working on a lower power, faster, newer, MINISCULE Pi (so low power that it's actually powered by the USB hub in the monitor to which it is connected). I have a feeling I'll be buying a few more of these...
