“Not there is no hook for a battery but you can construct something and fix to the pillars. Motion-project at github will do video motion detection from the camera. Uv4l will do streaming.”

“Cables arrived very quickly and well packed, though no other note inside the padded envelope. Cables worked perfectly well. The Picamera however died later due to other reasons.”
