The starter kit that arrived had all the required equipment as listed. I would give 5 stars except that the SD card came with no adapter to enable easy writing of the OS image. Fortunately for me I already had an adapter which I could use but for a starter kit I think this should have been included.

I had a Android M8 originally which was a nightmare to use. It was really sluggish and very temperamental. Anyway it broke (Thank God). Looking through a few forums about trying to build my own little media centre to put KODI on I discovered a lot of people talking about Raspberry Pi set ups. I spent a lot of time looking at a different kits on different site and trying to understand the workings of the Raspberry Pi. i.e. loading on a OS to then load on KODI. Anyway I then stumbled on this kit from PiHut with KODI already loaded onto the SD card. Brilliant! I built up the Raspberry Pi which literally only took me 5 minutes, switched it on and it loaded up with an option of different OS's already on the SD card for me to Install. Select the 'KODI for Raspberry Pi 2' option and leave it to install. Again no more than 5 minutes. Once you've done this its down to you to load all the add ons on to KODI for media streaming which is easy enough. There is literally hundreds of tutorials all over the internet. Anyway compared to my originally crappy M8 box this brilliant. It runs so much faster, no lag, and it never falters, it streams loads better. I used to have to let the streams buffer a bit before I wanted to watch something, not with this Raspberry Pi kit, everything just streams straight away. That is with 30mb broadband. It is so stable as well, you can just leave it on permanently and it will be fine. It only runs of a 2amp power lead so it is nice and cheap. Not you are best buying a remote separately for it to actually control it. I got a RII Mini X1 of eBay for £10.
