“It solved all my problems of trying to get my so call Sony Smart TV to recognise my movie collection on my NAS drive (it seemed to have issues with the Codecs?). It was far too simple to set up, I kept looking for the complicated bits, but there wasnt any, Kodi worked immediately just connect to my WiFi point at the NAS and it was working, even connects to the surround sound via HDMI. It is even possible to control it via the Sony TV remote. I can also now see my entire music and photo collection. So impressed have bought another one to play about with Python etc.”

“Got it out of the box, plugged it in to my tv, gave it some power and hey presto it works! (With a little tweak to log into my wifi)”

“I purchased my Pi to run Kodi media centre. The Pi was very easy to assemble, as was the pre-installed software on the supplied sd card. The Pi has replaced an expensive Matricom tv box, and in my opinion makes a far superior Kodi tv box.”

“The starter kit is good jumping off point for the experienced PI user and it gets you up and running quickly. I didn't like the loss of the SD card expulsion mechanism on the PI3 card but if it keeps the cost within the enthusiast's pocket then it is a welcome inconvenience. Additionally it runs exceptionally well the Official 7 touch capacitance display. Probably an onscreen keyboard would make for a cheap PI3 tablet.”

“Excellent kit , contains everything you need to get up and going, the cases are good (although the black one makes it a bit hard to attach an outboard hat) but good build quality and very useful. Would definitely recommend or order again.”
