“Perfect for my needs (home automation and generic home server). This unit is small and will fit nicely and unobtrusively on any desk. It does run a little hot, but that's to be expected given the size of the case and lack of cooling mechanisms. It's good value for money overall, well worth buying.”

“Everything needed to start using the RPi4. As a first time RPi user and first time Python user, I found it very easy to setup and use. The web has plentiful resources to help you program the RPi for any application. It is a capable computer and operating system, so it can be anything to anyone - with the right software and peripherals. I would suggest obtaining a few spare sd cards and/or USB memory sticks onto which you can clone the Pi sdcard for backup. If the Pi sdcard becomes corrupt, usually through user stupidity (yes, I have done that), you can easily create a new Pi sdcard (or bootable USB stick) by cloning the backup onto a new memory card. The RPi4 will automatically boot from a bootable USB memory stick if there is no sdcard connected. I find Balena Etcher running on a PC to be the best tool to copy memory cards. That way, you can experiment endlessly in the knowledge that you can always return the RPi to a known good working configuration by refreshing the sdcard.”
