“Squeals of joy from my son, especially after saying that the Pico would be in the last box (spoiler alert, it isn't, far from it). You can get projects up and running, and the layout is well done. You often take projects from the previous day and add functionality. The down side is that there are "only" 12 boxes, but one box every two days is fine; day one he gets the hardware, and day two he plays with it. The examples are very clear, and contrary to some of the other calendars that we've seen and/or had, each box has a real device, not just a disappointing "oh look, I got a wire...". No, there are wires, but with a real component, something you can use.”

“I bought this as a present, but had a sneaky look inside myself. The product is very well packaged and arrived in an outer protective box. I looked at the instructions/lessons and they look excellent and downloaded without any fuss or bother. Overall another excellent product from the Pi Hut”

“I've only got to day 4 so far as I'm eeking out the calendar until Christmas eve. The kits have great and good content, and very clear and detailed instructions. The projects are excellent and there is good learning that is applicable to other projects.”

“My 11 year old is really enjoying this calendar, it parallels some things he's doing in school so a nice expansion on learning and interest. Only comment would be the instructions are all online and it's not immediately clear where to find them. Perhaps a slip with a QR code in the first box to point you to the Web page on opening would be a nice help. Otherwise it's brilliant value for the price, really pleased”

“This was for my son. There was initial disappointment as some parts were missing. However after contacting the Pi Store the missing items have been sent out. Thank you Pi Store for putting this issue right in a timely manner. My son is very happy with his calendar.”

“I love the idea of this kit. We have only got to day two and what should have been a green, amber and red led’s turn out to be two green and one red. I hope the attention to detail improves as we go through the projects.”
