A very well designed case, the power button is particularly useful. It's most impressive feature is the way it keeps a Pi 4 cool.

This has to be the best Raspberry Pi case I have ever seen, and for a very reasonable price. Design is genius, very well thought out. One thing to keep in mind is the Type C port on the back is not a pass-thru so you can't do OTG mode. The case finish has some artifacting but for the price it is much better than expected. The GPIO access port even fits keyed ribbon connectors, truly awesome!

Very nice case, easy to install the Pi. The board does require screwing in, which isn't ideal, but is comparable to PC motherboards so really a non-issue. I have not noticed any thermal issues since installing this case, which is good. The reason that I have deducted two stars is because of the software component of this package, which interfaces with the power button and controls the fan. Firstly, the control script is not yet available for Ubuntu - only for Raspbian. This isn't a major issue, and when I e-mailed Argon 40's customer support to query them on this subject, they replied within 35 minutes to let me know that they are currently working on Ubuntu support. Fine by me. The bigger issue with the control script is that it's *not* open source - certainly you can read the source code as it's just a Bash script, but there is no source code license included with it. Under copyright law, this means that they have retained their copyright to the script and that the end user has no automatic rights to modify or distribute it. Similarly, the code is not available on GitHub or any other code collaboration platform. I would happily have contributed to the work for porting it to Ubuntu or fixing the myriad shellcheck linter warnings, but Argon 40 have decided to close the door on such collaborative endeavours. This also limits the customer's ability to obtain the script legally should the vendor stop distributing it. If you are less concerned about the openness of the software you install on your Linux distros, then this is an excellent case and is well worth the price. I hate to give it such a mixed review, but the Raspberry Pi enthusiasts I know tend to be rather keen on FOSS so should be aware of this drawback before purchasing this lovely case.

I wanted to get a case with a fan and this one seemed like a nice sleek design. Setting up was a little fiddly and unfortunately I broke an sd card in process - important, remove the sd card before putting the pi in the case, otherwise you'll put enough pressure on it to bend it slightly and it'll be gone! Once setup this thing has been gently chugging away without issue. It's very quiet and the instructions to install the software were very simple to follow. Overall a great case. Just don't do what I did and break your SD card!

I feel like this little case looks like it just fell off the UNSC Infinity. It's extremely sturdy and quite simply the best all in one cooling solution for the rPi, particularly for demanding, time consuming tasks. I can't sing it's praises enough. The fan does have some noise to it, but ignore the reviews claiming it's loud. It really isn't, even at 100% it's certainly noticeable but nothing close to an extent that shouldn't be expected. If you have any video or music playing, you won't notice it at all. At lower speeds, particularly 50% or less, it's quite a gentle hum and you'll quickly lose awareness of the sound altogether. It's a snug and tight for getting the pi in here but it's reassuring secure. The connected board routing all the connections to the back is a stroke of genius and makes for a very tidy setup. If you like cable management, look no further. Yes, it gets warm. But that's the whole point of this beauty. The case itself acts as a heat sink, drawing heat away from the rPi to supplement the fan's cooling work. By far the best case I've ever used for an rPi, hands down worth every penny.
