Superb case. Stylish, easy to assemble and with secure external connectors. It's easy to access the SD card if you need to change it. Passive cooling works well with the near silent fan only kicking in under heavy load. Excellent next-day service by The PiHut as is to be expected!

Fits the Pi 4 perfectly. It is easy to assemble, just needing a firm press to fully seat the small daughterboard to the main Pi board. Aligning the GPIO pins and pressing gently seats the whole assembly. Unfortunately, I cannot get video output through HDMI0. I have disassembled the system multiple times, to no avail. I was about to give up when I found that the Pi 4 will display the desktop through either HDMI port. So, nothing ventured, I reassembled the system and used HDMI1. This time, I got to the desktop. I can also get sound output from the daughterboard. Due to my problems, I have raised a support issue with the manufacturer. If this problem can be solved, then I would award 5 stars, but as of now, cannot award more than 3.

This is a great case, nicely made with a well-thought-out design. The dimensions are (in mm) 106 wide, 95 deep and 35 high at the tallest point. (The front edge is 25 high, rear edge is 32 high). The top part is aluminium (including the magnetic cover over the GPIO interface). The bottom part is dark grey translucent plastic, such that the power and activity indicator lights on the RPi 4 are visible (when lit). The Raspberry Pi board is placed so that the power light is right in the centre of the case, which is a nice touch. The build quality is very high - there are no sharp/ugly flash lines and pieces fit together accurately. It looks like a little Tesla Cybertruck, kind of, (to me, anyway...) The daughter board, featuring the audio and hdmi connectors was a VERY tight fit with the RPi board I used. I had to be very careful yet persistent when inserting the audio jack in particular - the hdmi connectors went it pretty easily. Assembly is very easy and the instructions are very clear and correct (also available to view via Pi Hut before you buy). In use, it doesn't get very warm (though that depends on how hard it's working). Heat from the CPU and RAM are conducted to the case top shell via sticky pads. I had to goad the fan to come on by repeatedly running sysbench prime number tests (and configure it to come on at a lower temperature too). It was distinctly audible but never needed to stay on long. The power inlet socket and HDMI no 1 socket are quite close together. If your HDMI cable has quite a fat plug, it may push against the power. I filed a groove out of my HDMI plug so it wouldn't touch the power plug.

The Argon one V2 works well but compared to the V1 which i also own, the magnets are not as strong, while being used normally it is fine, but if you move from one room to another you have to be careful that the GPIO lid does not fall off. Apart from that, it keeps the PI 4 very cool and most of the time the fan is not needed.

Excellent heat dissipation. When compared with a FLIRC case my RPi4 ownCloud server is consistently 6-8°C cooler in this Argon ONE case. The fan - set to come on at 55°C - is barely ever used ... but when it is the noise is pretty obvious (hence removal of one star). Assembly was straightforward and there is good access to the SD card and all the ports.
