Bought 6 weeks ago to use as the case for a Home Assistant server. It has been running 24*7 since then. RPI4 never gets hotter than 42C. Case is just warm to touch even on hottest days. Full size HDMI connectors are a huge improvement from the onboard micro HDMI on the Pi. Power switch is better than pulling usb but takes 10+ secs to power off. Not used IR yet but useful addition. Fan is under Home Assistant control and rarely comes on and even then is inaudable.

Lovely little case. Very well built and bought the temp of my Pi down from 62 to 45. Very happy with it. I might go for the M.2 base adapter and SSD to go with it now :)

I have two of these, one with the M.2 extension. They're generally good cases, with a nice design, good functionality, good price, good build quality, and some nice custom PCBs. However, there are some big "buts" here. For one, the fan is loud, and seems rather low-quality. It then isn't ideal that the heat sink design is "creative" and is part of the case shell itself, making it hard to just swap in a better quality fan - including the one Argon40 itself offers. Another issue is the C port this provides, which sends power to the GPIO pins instead of just relocating the actual C port like it does with the other ports, thus killing the OTG functionality. Finally, one of the PCBs seems to have been designed with an IR transmitter in mind, as there's an empty slot for one next to the IR receiver. Leaving that out seems weird when it would cost next to nothing and there's a dedicated slot for one.

Keeps the Pi cool and lets me plug it in to full size HDMI connectors.

The pictures are deceiving. It appears a lot smaller 'in the flesh'. Build quality is excellent; Aluminium top and plastic base. The *only* negative from my perspective is that the design isn't great if you want to use a HAT - although there is the argon nano that might be a better choice there. The one thing to note is that the HATs when added will hang over the rear of the case with no support and potentially in contact with the metal shell - BE CAREFUL. Would I buy it again? Certainly, I have 4 of them... :)

great looking item easy to assemble but you need to change coding to work properly

I've been using the V2 case for over six months now. Very easy to set up (just follow the instructions), the fan is very quiet when it's running which because of the passive cooling effect of the case isn't constant. It feels well engineered with quality materials and looks very smart. The plus for me over the V1 is the full size HDMI ports which mean you don't have to buy new cables to fit the mini HDMI ports on the V1. All in all I have had no negative experience of any kind with this case.
