So much better than using a USB to SSD cable which can come loose.

Excellent case for my Pi 4 - was able to plug the USB port on the base directly into my PC using an extension lead and install the OS using the standard Raspberry Pi installer.

I was a bit unsure of the design of the Argon case initially. However, wanting to run my Pi4 with an SSD (without unsightly cables that make it look a bit bodged), there is little choice on the market. When the case arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, size and ease of assembly. With M2 SSD installed it now sits proudly on my desktop, and running a lot more quickly than a Pi running off microSD.

Great case for the Pi4, haven’t put my SSD in yet, but looks simple enough. Good documentation and easy to assemble.

A solid case that instils confidence. Well built. Went together a dream. Note. I bought this to support a new Home Assistant installation which does not natively support the fan. The fan? Is a noisy little bu66er (can I say that in a review)??! And not something you would want running constantly (and it’s not designed to run constantly). The Argon Case comes with a script so the fan kicks in if and when needed. There are workarounds to get this working with HA but you need to start mucking around low level. A fab case. I would unreservedly recommend. Just check fan scripts for your application.

Perfect case for when you want to use the Pi 4 with a fast SSD rather than an SD card. Greatly sped up the Pi 4. The case was easy to assemble and has built-in cooling to keep the Pi at a good temperature. The fan is a bit loud, but with the fan control script installed it never comes on unless it gets to a certain temperature, which mine never seems to hit.

Easy install. Works as expected. Nice touch with the magnets holding the "hatch" for the external GPIO pins. Important to install the fan control software, the fan is very small and make a high-frequent, quite irritating noise all the time otherwise.
