Excellent little case! Highly recommended to anyone considering it. The only criticism is that it should really come with one additional thing - an easy way of connecting the SSD in the case to a USB cable for your PC. I got hold of a "USB 3 Male to Type C Female" adapter and I can confirm that it makes reinstalling SO much quicker and easier, and you don't have to take the case apart.

Lovely case, easy to fit and very well made. The only let down is a slightly noisy fan. Which I may try to find a quieter replacement for. I have it running Home Assistant with a 256Gb M2 drive.

Excellent case, but the usb to usb dongle is faulty, the pi4 won't boot. Replace it with a usb to usb cable and it boots up. Am currently waiting for Argon to send a replacement. Still an excellent case though.

Great case. Easy to assemble. Works perfectly with Home Assistant, connected to my home network via Ethernet. Great service from The Pi Hut

Very pleased with the case, great to have all the connections on one side which keeps it neat. Although larger than a standard Pi case it takes up less room with all the connection at the rear. Full size HDMI are great idea but I run my Pi headless. My Pi 4 is used as a reverse proxy server and boots from a M.2 Sata SSD. The only downside is the fan is a little noisy. The fan did stop working after a reboot, I took the case apart, could not see anything wrong and the fan is running again My Pi 4 currently running at 37C in an room temperature 21C. When the fan was not working it was running at 47C which is still ok.

The problem with this very well made case is that, unfortunately, once the USB 3 bridge is inserted the wi-fi signal stops and cannot be connected again. Remove the USB bridge and the wi-fi comes back fine. I have tried several different Raspberry and Linux operating systems to see if that helped but to no avail. Since having this problem myself, I have looked on YouTube and other help fora and learnt that other M.2 users have the same problem. On the advice give on the Pi Hut's website, I had an exchange of emails with Argon 40. They haven't been able to come up with any solutions and I got the impression I wasn't the first buyer to raise this problem. If you are happy to be linked by an ethernet cable at all times then this would be a great buy. As I do not and the problem could not be resolved by Argon 40 I had no alternative but to return it. That is my reason for only 2 Stars. The Pi Hut have been understanding and kept in touch throughout the outing and refund process. Maurice

An awesome, high quality, case that will bundle up your RPI4 and keep it extremely cool! This is the third Argon ONE case I have brought from Pi Hut for Raspberry Pi 4 single board computers, we have several hard worked servers here where we have experimented with using RPI4s instead of rack mounted enterprise servers for tasks such as 3CX Voip Server (for Voice over internet telephone calls) OMV5 Servers (File servers) and even a DNS Server with PiHole (blocks webpage adds for users in our network), and of all the cases we have tried, this one is the most solid (Its aluminium) and offers the best cooling. No matter how much bandwidth and processing we throw at it, I have never seen temperatures getting above 40 degrees C on the CPU, and that includes heavy duty audio compression on the 3CX Server, where it is dealing with upto 10 calls at the same time, as well as others on hold with an automated assistant. The fan is NOT noisy, even if it was, it is controlled by the PI and turns off (most of the time it is off) and goes through several speeds depending on the actual temperature of the Pi CPU... I do not think I have ever heard it have to go above 25% speed, as the entire case acts as a heat sink. The M.2 Version we have for the 3CX Server is without SD Card, Boots off of the M.2 SSD Driver (also from Pi Hut) and is insanely fast at booting, but most importantly is a robust solution, unlike using SD cards which can be volatile. The only dissapointment I have is that Argon have discontinued the Raspberry Pi 3B Version of the ArgonOne case with fan, which is a shame because I have a finely tuned RPI3B with Octopi running on it for my 3D printer, which I would love to take out of it's plastic case, and mount in an ArgonOne! Delivery from Pi Hut is second to none, which is why we keep coming back to them time and time again.
