Great purchase. Really pleased with it however the controllers are poor and if I really wanted to be picky could have done with a couple of heat sinks. However everything else is top notch.

The supplied case didn't shut properly with the PI 3 inside it, tried it several times to no avail. Bought a much nicer clear one off eBay with full access to everything including microsd removal for about three quid. Also the Snes pads, both of them, aren't reliable when pressing left - sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, this makes Mario Kart games unplayable unfortunately. If PI Hut are reading this I'd appreciate it if you could test two Snes controllers and if they work 100% send me them. It isn't a software issue as I have an old USB joypad which I've plugged in and works 100% of the time. The PI 3 itself and all the cables are fine and i do think it's not a bad deal overall but I do think the controllers and the case could be better, should be better. Might just be a quality control issue with the manufacturers.

Recently bought this product as a gateway into building more complicated devices. This was great as there are so many tutorials online to help get everything setup. One thing I would say is to have a decent understanding of code as to be fair at the moment I don't really understand it all. All in all worth getting a tinkering around with it.
