Very smooth looking case keeping the RPi's CPU chip cooler and the RPi4 secure. I wasn't so keen on the plastic top to the case, which is a heat insulator, after all why do to a lot of detailed design work to conduct the heat away from the CPU chip only for the heat to be contained within the metal structure of the case's lid? If covered with a black anodised aluminium sheet, instead of the plastic sheet, then this would radiate heat and look just as smooth. Or turn the sheet into a thin heatsink - give it a hedgehog look perhaps? For anyone new looking at cases, this case design has quite a specific target use because access to the three on-board connector strips (40-pin GPIO strip, Camera strip and Display strip) is almost impossible without modifying the aluminium case - someone else may have reported a suitable hack?

This case is pretty good at keeping the pi cool but there are some points buyers should be aware of. There were no instructions with the case when I received it. Although quite easy to work out how things went together there is a definite knack to getting thing to go together. Also once the case has warmed up, it obviously takes time to cool down, this is not an issue but something to be aware of if your pi has been overcooked.

The FLIRC case keeps my rPi4's CPU temperature on 47 degrees. Besides the design is great.
