Apple-ish design. Detail is good. Has even raspberry key. Little bit expensive, otherwise it’s good.

The official keyboard and mouse are nice complements to the Raspberry Pi. The short mouse cable length means that it best to plug into the keyboard hub. The keyboard USB cable is also rather short. Note that under Raspbian OS, console terminals do not use the Caps Lock light. This is not a problem with the keyboard but with Raspbian.

The keyboard works well but what makes it more difficult to use is the lack of tactile indicators (usually a small raised dot) on the F and J keys. As someone who touch types, this means I have to make an effort to look and see where my fingers are.

Have you ever struggled to reach a USB port at your computer? Often the only available ports are located at the backside of the PC, which is placed under the desk or another location difficult to reach. With this innovative keyboard you can directly plug your sticks into the keyboard (which has an integrated USB hub). Normally the cable for a computer mouse is either too short or too long. The cable of this mouse has the perfect size, since it is plugged into the USB port at the keyboard. Thus you only need 1 USB port at your PC for both wired input devices. The keyboard is lightweight. It is short and can be transported easily. Further, the cable of the keyboard can be detached. So you can equip your stationary devices (PCs, Servers, etc.) with just a cable and take the keyboard with you. This also improves security, when no stationary keyboard is available at critical systems. It is also perfect for mobile projects, where you have to bring your own debugging device with you. The keys feel good and make a very nice sound. The ONLY con I experienced so far: it has no END/HOME key. But this only means I have to become familiar with VIM and the corresponding shortcuts ;) Highly recommendable. Would buy a second and even a third time :D
