“I bought the pre-soldered one, and after spending a little time snipping the parts from the pre-cut sheet, I clipped it together, wrote the 6-line program and set up a cron job to make it work from power-on. I felt that maybe there could have been a full tutorial for that bit, but maybe that's part of the fun? A few suggestions for PiHut's next model - more LEDs near the top of the tree, and perhaps more different colours. If you're feeling really adventurous, then using neo-pixel LEDs in a long string would be amazing!”
